This counselling approach focuses on enhancing the individual's inner strength and resourcefulness. This allows individuals to recognize their inner strengths and how those strengths can support in dealing with other issues. Allowing individuals to grow from their past experiences and increase their self-esteem and self-worth. It is difficult to experience life challenges in order to reorganize our strengths.
